Vacuum Tray Dryer

Vacuum Tray Dryer Overview

Vacuum tray Dryer are specialized dryer dehydrated product with controlled atmosphere like controlled RH and Vacuum condition VTD Dehydrator are used in specifically pharmaceutical and chemical industry. Design construction of such dehydrators are completely different than normal dehydrator. To maintain neutral atmosphere inside heating chamber VTD are made with heavy sheet metal and door will be sealed with special type of locking arrangement.

Heating will be done by Hot water/Steam in case of VTD. Heating medium will be circulated from hot plate inside oven and allied accessories like condenser, receiver will be provided in package.

Vacuum Tray Dryer (VTD)

Vacuum Tray Dryers engineered for specialized, controlled-atmosphere dehydration in pharma and chemical industries.

Specialized Dehydration

Vacuum Tray Dryers are designed for specialized drying processes that involve controlled atmospheric conditions, such as controlled relative humidity (RH) and vacuum conditions. They are particularly used in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries for precise product drying.

Unique Design

The design and construction of VTDs are distinct from regular dryers. These dryers are built to create and maintain a neutral atmosphere within the heating chamber to prevent product contamination and ensure product quality.

Heavy Sheet Metal Construction

VTDs are typically constructed with heavy sheet metal to provide structural integrity and to withstand the vacuum and temperature conditions required for the dehydration process.

Special Locking Arrangement

The doors of Vacuum Tray Dryers are sealed with special locking arrangements to ensure a tight seal and maintain the controlled atmosphere within the drying chamber.

Heating Methods

VTDs use hot water or steam as the primary heating medium. This heating medium is circulated from a hot plate inside the oven to achieve the desired drying temperature.

Condenser and Receiver

VTDs often come with additional accessories like condensers and receivers, which are integral for managing the vacuum and condensing moisture during the drying process.

Wide Range of Capacities

These dryers are available in a range of capacities, starting from 6 trays and going up to 96 trays, providing flexibility for different production scales and batch sizes.

Expert Handling of Vacuum

Maintaining a controlled vacuum is a critical parameter in VTD dehydrators. Skilled design and engineering teams ensure that the vacuum levels are precisely controlled throughout the drying process.
